After one of the many software updates, I can no longer adjust the volume of android auto announcements (WhatsApp/SMS).

 

Previously when I was playing back a notification I could adjust the volume (a different icon appeared next to the volume level).

 

Any one have a solution for this?

Sometimes it just needs a phone reset but that's what I'd try first. Failing that, go for a phone and infotainment reset afterwards.

I'm on a late 13 beta at the moment but can't recollect any issues like yours.
