LED headlight Octavia mark 3 tourist mode

Featured Replies

Hi guys I have a question.

Any Octavia owners with LED headlights can you check for me if in the light setting you have the tourist mode? I want to change my Skoda Octavia elegance for a never one, maybe a 2019model.

I want to travel in Europe as well and I don't want to buy stickers and other stuffs.

Thanks for anybody who has answers

Take this as you will, from maintenance manual.  Hopefully someone with facelift Octavia III and LED can confirm.

The manual for my MY2019 gives the following. Hope this helps and is relevant.

Driving abroad
When driving in countries with opposing traffic system (traffic on the
left/right), headlights may dazzle oncoming traffic.
Therefore, the LEDFront headlight setting must be adapted by turning on travel mode in infotainment in the  /  →  → Light menu. In this mode, there is
no automatic adjustment of the light beam in front of the vehicle.

Thanks for your answer,it is a good news that is tourist mode, even if is not automatically switching on.

It's not that hard to switch on and off at the border.

Thanks
