Excuse my terminology, the slider thing has dislodged from the actual vent the swings. Anyone know the best way to tackle this?

 

I don't really want to remove the entire centre console for this.

Watching this as exactly the same happened to mine earlier this week!  My car is still under warranty so depending upon complexity of the job I may get the dealer to do it when they fix my SOS error that won't clear!

Dealer will likely just replace the vent if under warranty.  
 

The car I am buying from Skoda at the moment has the same part broken.  They’re just replacing it.
