2006 octavia 4x4 estate- example of a certificate of conformity please

Featured Replies

I am trying to re register my car in the UK after moving back from France. The V5/55 form instructions keep pointing me to the coc for information. I have the coc from Skoda but sadly the left hand margins have not printed so I have information but don't know what it refers to! I have managed to find a sample front page on the web but cant find the second page. Does anyone have a coc the they can share (i don't need any sensitive information).

How do you obtain the COC? If you have a soft copy it may be as simple as setting the print margins for the document as wide as the printer will allow.

Thanks for the suggestion

It’s a hard copy posted by Skoda who will not email the document

@ecr7

Return it citing incomplete information and request another verified copy.

I’ll do that but there’s a 14 day delay from them and I need to fill a form…

I have one that I used to French register my Octavia2, it was passed on when I sold the vehicle, I believe that I still have a copy but its at my now unoccupied place in Northern France and I don't know when I will next be there and it will only be an overnight stopover after a 10-12 hour drive before setting off again.

If you cant get the info by other means then PM me before the end of the month as I may have to travel soon after.

It's a standard EU format so if you know how many lines down the info is then you can work out what the parameter would be.

That’s why I need an example to work from…

thanks for your offer

I found THIS ; any help?

Thanks Mike but it needs to be in exactly the same format as the Skoda coc so I can tie the lines up …

Won't Skoda send it via e-mail ?

No…..

probably not because of increased risk of doctoring/altering the information if a soft copy issued

Some images below may be of help

Thanks Lee, that was useful.

Only need to locate my engine number now….I hope it doesn’t involve too much dismantling…

When I registered my car over here in Germany I didn't have a COC. But it wasn't a problem as I just went to the TÜV centre and they printed it all off for me for a small fee.

Shame they can't just do that at an MOT centre.

@Phil-E

That's British bureaucracy for you.
