I've seen an Octavia around Camberwell in London where the owner has changed the Skoda badge and put on a vw one. I didn't know that vw made an Octavia. So on the same note I am going to put a bugatti badge on my 1.4 16v Octavia.

i have debadged the back of mine as in glasgow not many people would play with the VRS now they all bit so it can be an advantage to have nothing and i have to say it looks cool too.

They did make a GTi. As mentioned it was indeed a 1.8, you should find them around the P-S reg area.

Not that fast either. A friend from Uni had one which was 110bhp. My 306DT would comfortably outrun it until about 95mph. The RS2000 was the proper hot hatch.
