Android auto volume

Featured Replies

Previously (before one of many software upgrades) I was able to alter the volume for android auto announcements. When (for example) a text message was being read out, if I adjusted the volume a different icon appeared and I could then alter that volume without affecting the media volume.

I can no longer alter the volume of any android auto announcement, it is fixed (and too quiet).

Has anyone found a solution to this?

I don't have a solution but I have this exact same problem! Very annoying

Try to adjust the volume during the announcement.

Sadly that doesn't work

I have found if I have Android auto active for Waze or Google maps etc. But use the stock radio for music, not Spotify or internet radio, then you can adjust Android auto volume for messages etc. If I'm using Spotify or another music app then it goes very quiet.

It works for me. I get loud messages and can still use the raido from the car.

Thank you, that works for me and at least that way I can switch to the radio and adjust the volume
