It is a dq200.  The code of yours is on the build sticker in the spare tyre well beside where it shows the engine.

Free: Skoda UK webchat, you should be able to ask for your PR Codes (spec sheet) or enter a main dealers and ask for a printout

Paid: erWin Skoda where AFAIK you should be able to get your spec sheet, along with all the wiring diagram/repair manuals.  Some scamp on eBay charging you a few quid for the information you can get for free.

Cheers, Ill follow this up,

Is it possible to fit a limited slip diff ? I find the stability system lacking

@Crucian. Why do you need to know?   Your car if it still has the original DQ200 it left the factory with should maybe have had service campaign 34h5 done since 2017.   Ps. Edit.    Everything is possible.   @thomasaspin should be able to advise.     Or use search and you can read the threads.    DQ200 Quaife LSD.    You will see it showing for the Polo GTI 2010-2014.

That is not stability.  It is the XDS.  Have you adjusted that. It can be turned up or down, or off. It turns off on a track or when the brake system overheats anyway.

OOh you tease me now, how is said XDS accessed

I bumped the thread.  Post there with the link to XDS.  There are others.  Car gets plugged in and XDS, steering assist or brake assist can be changed from factory setting.  If you have good tyres on now and want a LDS fitted then splash the cash and get one fitted.

@Crucian  this is the Scamp referred to above https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224631127243  £2.66 you'd use more in fuel driving to the local stealership to get the original build sheet printout and as I found the PDF I got from the Scamp was more detailed than the build sheets from the stealers

Easiest to open the hatch. Unless the sticker had worn off the 3 letter transmission code is on the sticker.  Maybe beside it the Service campaign stickers for what done if done or sticker applied.    There is only one DSG used anyway, ECU, software is different.   If 34h5 was done that is a software update .   Different from the 34f7 on DQ200 2009-2012.

It will just have CTHE rather than CAVE and we know what the gear box is.

Check the service booklet for a copy of the boot sticker.

They stopped putting in Service Books in 2012.

There are some that had the Build Sticker in the Owners Manual Cover page if that is still with the car.

@Crucian

Going by your 2014 i knew it was a CTHE, as CAVE engines discontinued Autumn 2012.

 I will assume your car has it's original engine and not a replacement, and the DSG it left the factory with.

This was one of the last cars built.

It needed Service Campaign 34H5 which was on some DQ200 DSGs from 2013-2015 and started in 2017 but not all keepers were told about,

or they asked and were told not required. That was an error with some that should have had the Software Update.

This never showed it even when the car was maybe one that did require 34H5.

@roottoot

Cheers,

 It's had Service Campaign 34H5 previously carried out, Skoda confirmed this in response to an Email I sent them
