What sort of damage can a faulty one of these cause and what symptoms would you expect apart from a clutch pedle which sticks down?

I think the pedal sticking down is the major issue.

My slave cylinder is in stock in Yeovil, so I shall collect tomorrow and fit in the afternoon.

I am wondering if it would also be the cause of a sticky/difficult gear change which feels like the clutch might not be disengaging too.

might be.... I am hoping the odd little issue I have with gear changes will be solved with the new slave, as I have already had my master one done....

my favourite garage told me they are all like that when i had issues changing gear :(
