Hi Folks,

New owner of a 2015 Octavia 2.0 TDI Laurin and Klement as of yesterday and already love the car.

I've got lots of questions (especially about upgrading from a MIB 1 to something with android auto!) and have found out lots just from lurking over the past week or so!

Manchester based and hoping to be a long time owner!

Hi , hope someone can shed some light on a this . On an 2021 Octavia fault says. The regeneration frequency of Diesel Particulate Filter is not ok , says the fault is permanent . Car is due to go for software update , would this have something to do with it. Thanks

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hello Everyone. I replaced the rear brake pads and disc on my 2018 Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 Tsi today and thought I'd share some insights. This car has the standard 300mm rear discs. The bake pads and discs were the originals, having covered 46,000 miles!! First thing to say is that replacing the rear bake discs is a heck of a lot easier than replacing the front discs, the reason being that you don't need to remove the caliper carrier. This was great news to me because if you google the procedure
