Just 2 questions if anyone can answer them for me please.

 

Can engine stop/start be deactivated, i have looked in  imfotainment and cant seem to find any settings for it.

 

My other question is When sat nav is on is there any way to stop it coming up on the center console so i can keep my mph speed there

It can be tuned off in the Long Coding menu using VCDS or similar, it is not allowed to be permanently deactivated by the user under the emissions regulations the car was certified.

You do not need to search the menus to switch off s/s. Have a look at the switches below the heater controls. The first switch on the left deactivates s/s, but of course it will be active again next time the car is started. S/s doesn't bother me though.

Doesn’t the Karoq have that thin cable connected to the battery like Octavia MK3? If yes, unplug that cable and S/s won’t start anymore.
