Front Assist Unavailable..no codes showing

Featured Replies

2016 Superb, front assist has been showing as unavailable for a while. I have cleaned the sensor etc. I borrowed a friends OBD2 scanner and no codes have been found at all which I find strange. I was hoping it would just need calibrated.

Would a code only show if there was a major issue? Is it likely just needing calibrated?

Cheers

It's possible that the scanner isn't picking up the code. The generic scanners can vary a lot

Would it be worthwhile trying a different different one?

It'd be worth trying to find someone local with ODBeleven or similar

edit: apologies - I see now that you've already posted looking for an OBDeleven owner near you.  I reckon that that's your best bet if you can find someone.
