Drove 120 miles each way today for our 58 plate Fabia 1.9TDI Sport. 

 

It's awesome! Over 50mpg on the way home and v comfy and torquey. 

 

I don't think there are a huge amount of these about? Feel like it may be a future classic ha!

 

Only 60K on the clock too and a massive folder of history. Just need to sort out the speakers as they are pretty shocking compared to my Octy MK2!

Looks good I loved my old MK2 Fabia estate 1.9 TDI but sadly no longer with us written off by a plep driver, bought it in 2009 with 3000 miles on clock written off in 2019 with 96k , no issues just changed oil and filter every year and fuel and air filter every 2 years, did change the timing belt with pulley kit drive belt and adjuster at 70000 oh and replaced anti freeze with VWspec coolant, sold the car to a mate as he wanted an engine for his car, the motor has now done 120k and still does not use any oil and goes like stink Skoda produced one of the best engines with the 1.9 TDI, we now have a 1.0 TSI MK3 which is ok but miss the pull of the old TDI

Sorry just seen this! Ah how frustrating for you, bet you were gutted! 

 

Great to hear how well they go on though - really enjoying it so far. It's the wife's runabout and so much better than her old fiat 500! 

Just a quick question, did you buy the car from Dorset as I think i may have looked at this car previously?
