I have installed my chrome mirrors on my vehicle (not to everyone's taste, I understand) and here is a picture.

I would do if I had a drive. there's too many busses and pedestrians coming past my gaff. It takes ages to wash and requires a full risk assesment prior to commencing.

rub em up with some grade 4 snad paper as brushed chrome looks better
