Hi guys im knew the the group and have just finished my falicia pickup body modifacations but am now looking to up the power a bit. 

The engine thats in it is a 1.9d which i am looking at getting the cam reprofiled and bigger valves put in the head. I was also thinking of putting turbo pistons in it and clapping a pd130 turbo on it but i know the gearbox will not stick the extra power so was wondering if there where any stronger boxes out there which would fit to the aef block? Any help would be greatly apreciated:)

You'll find the engine bay is very tight to be putting a turbo on the back. Not saying it's impossible, but it will be tricky. 

What power/torque do you expect after mods? Felicia gearbox can handle 1.9TD - and I'm not sure if you can get more from AEF due to indirect injection.

 

Only other gearbox that fits AEF is Polo 085 - which is weaker than Felicia. Other VW vehicles had diesel motors slanted backwards, which would mean more extensive modifications.
