Retrofit heated seat fit without draining battery

Featured Replies

Hi. I have bought dh some heated pads for his driver seat. One lot decided to give up.the ghost quickly. The other one he forgot to unplug after turning of ignition and drained battery. Both versions are in bin. His car doesn't have an auto shut off for cigarette light which is what they were plugged into so things still stay charging unless physically unplugged. Does anyone have any suggestions about type of heated seat pads that are good or work around. I wondered about adding a separate fuse but know nothing about this type of of thing. Thanks loads dawn

Take the power feed from an ignition live circuit, rather than a permanent live.
