I have to admit I'm still slightly angry after seeing that, almost to the point where I wanted to go outside and give my Furby a hug.....

For a start, why was it even mentioned? Why was a car that's been around for three years or so on there anyway?

I like Top Gear and apparently there is a two year waiting list to become an audience member ('member' being the operative word on this occasion......) but I wouldn't wait two minutes to join that bunch of morons.

Still, if they'd rather pay another £5K for a VW badge then so be it.....

i watched it and wasn't too bothered at all. It's a car I don't care if it's cool or not. I like it and I think it's pretty damn good for the money.

I love JC and the lads. the old top gear would have liked it tho!

not sure why the VRS was on? maybe cos they saw one on the road?

I'd have been more concerned if they'd liked it - still means we have a stealth / cult car. Christ, if I was worried about opinion, I wouldn't hurtle round in a green Impreza with gold wheels and park bench on the back!

It may well be for some people, but I still find if I park it when it is nice and clean I get a few comments every now and then - thats a nice car etc.

Also, however angry I was after seeing that, driving back from Alton Towers yesterday reminded me how great the car is, smile on my face all the way back.
