Featured Replies

So im getting the error 03156 which the internet doesnt bring much up for, found one that states is this sensor which i believe is part number 1Z0877829B

Does this need to be coded to car as odd add on ebay says might need coding, or is it a straight swap?

Need more info.

Hi MicMac, what other info would you need?

What is your problem, what are you using to detect the error code and why do you think it pertains to the ultrasound unit?

Access the unit and (un)plug the connector a few times.

cheers just cleaned all connectors and alarm seemed to arm ok first time, is it really likely to be something that simple and not the boards gone faulty?

Yes, the connector pins oxidise over time and with vibration leads to a bad connection and a fault occurring.

Nothing unexpected on 13 year old car electrics.
