Hi there, just a short intro from a newbie member.

 

I'm a South Bham resident, varied background but currently entering a delivery driving role in a few weeks time, so riding around will soon become my mainstay.

 

I've only been driving since early 2022. I'm in my late 20's, so i came late to driving, after settling with public transport for many years, but finally needed a car to get around.

 

My stepdad was generous enough to give me his old Skoda Octavia MKII Estate (2005), and it's been a great first car, no major issues so far. Impressed with the reliability and how responsive it is, hoping to keep it for some years to come.

 

However, the alarm has started playing up recently... it has been triggering at random times, and that's why I'm on the forum, to try and figure out how to fix it w/o spending too much on it.

 

Hopefully I can learn some more about self-maintenance while I'm here and pick up a few things along the way.
