Intermittent failure of rear wipers

Featured Replies

I have a Superb estate, 61 plate. The rear wiper is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it will work, other times not at all and then sometimes it will come on a good few miles after I first enable it. The spray works every time, no problem. I have absolutely no idea what powers either from where! I haven't had a look at the wires that I see from the top of the boot into the body of the vehicle (sorry, no idea what it's name is)

I read it could be the motor but the one thing that concerns me is that I also get a random rear break light warning on the right side but the light is working.

Do these sound related or two different issues?

Thank you!

Hi it will more than likely be where the wiring comes from bodywork to tailgate
Its a common issue with the twin tailgate
there is lot of posts about it  read this one👈
