AFS Function not working, no Error message Superb MK2 my2008

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.
I've had a problem with AFS for a long time.
I tested it with VCDS and there is no error message, nothing in the MFA of auto either.
When I start the car, the xenon headlights no longer go into the "dance" function and do not work when driving. It also happens that the left headlight goes down and back up from time to time, but the right one never makes any movements.
I have changed the xenon bulbs and also the modules that are under the car but still don't work.
I noticed that the fuse in the front of the engine room was blown, so I changed it first and agene nothing.
Thanks in advance and apologies if anything I've written isn't of good quality.

Could one of the little white plastic level sensors on the front suspension be broken? Last service my mechanic noticed one of mine was. I’d not realised at the time but the lights had stopped doing the dance on startup. There were no fault codes as I’d scanned it with Carista before taking it in.

Thanks for the answer, I have changed the one on the back off the car, it was broken, checked the front one, and it was okay. When the back one was broken, I have gotten the error message, butt I got the problem with light before the error.

I will check again the front one, and replace it, or check the wires, maybe it doesn't trigger the error message on the front one.
