Impossible Performance

Featured Replies

Got my car remapped today by IP, excellent service ... very friendly.

I should roughly have between 173/177 hp, and have 412 NM of torque, which im not sure how to convert into pounds per ft.

The car really pulls well.. Therefore.. Highly recommended.

Aaron

412NM is 303.78lb/ft. ;)

Thanks mate... I'm really impressed with it!

That must have been a good test ride you had last night

A Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale has only 275 lbs/ft, just something which you may enjoy saying

Was looking at a V8 Vantage... 302 Ib/ft.... i enjoy that bit better :D...

And yes, it was some hell of a test drive... it persuaded me this morning... i woke up with a huge ambition....

So... when's the next rolling road day? If there's one local, i'll be attending!

Berrata (gerry) is up at Marlin in Bletchley on Saturday with the Seat Boys, They might be able to let you join in. Send him a PM.

And its still faster in any gear then fabia  Torque is nothing without revs :(

 So its faster in first gear... than a vRS in sixth flooring it? Thats one hell of a ferrari...

Just wanted to say that comparing torques between two totally different cars isn`t possible...

Lol.... where did this come from ? Damn right my fabia cannot match a ferrari..

I'm just enjoying my progressive torque ..

.......still not nearly as fast as ferrari.....

I think that should say..."no where near as fast".

It's not all about power/torque though...it's how it is used and transmitted to the road.

Example..Bug Veyron has ulitmately a higher top speed than an F1 car....but which is quicker?

I think that should say..."no where near as fast".

Thanks for this english lessond. But i prefer saying it like it would be said in finnish.. :) "Ei läheskään niin nopea kuin ferrari"

Gerry, I take it you are going there for a new set of graphs. I have it on good authority that you've worn the current ones out. Perhaps you should consider having them laminated     :P
