My octavia estate interior light does not come on when i unlock open or close car and doors anymore. The interior lights work when you press the buttons. Any ideas?

Common issue in older Octavia's and Golfs. The board inside burns out. The only true way to guarantee to get it fixed is repair...some repair, some replace with 2nd hand, it seems to be juat delaying a problem.
