Vrs 2.0tsi stalls

Featured Replies

Hi

First of all i want to start by saying sorry for any misspells since english is not my main language and car language is my strongest either

I have an octavia rs year model 2014 with 173 000km, and a couple of weeks ago it started to run very rough on idle and while standing still in intersections and it would just die out. Got error message start/stop system fault. Had it in for an oil for gearbox and engine. And asked the mechanics to have a look at and they found fault code P0341 and said the cam sensor was broken and needed to be changed. Had it in 2days later for sensor replacement and the car worked fine for about 2.5 weeks during this weekend it started with the same type of rough idling and stalling again.

Yesterday the mechanincs were looking at it but didnt seem to find any problems. They want to check to see if the chain might have jumped a tooth so thats due for tomorrow.

Could it be that the chain has jumped but if it has wouldnt any warning lights go on in the dashboard if this was the case?

Been trying to look for people online that have experienced the same type of problem but no luck.

Thanks for any possible help / Information

Similar problem with the same code.
