Hi all

Does anyone know the part number for the rubber grommets that hold the engine cover on?

It's what came up for your VIN.

is this thingy the reason they took the engine covers away, or I'm totally wrong, lol

They took covers off some 2.0 TSI's not 1.5 TSI's and now they are back on some new ones, replacements on some that are due one, free gartis.

Some 1.5 TSI's now have smaller engine covers.

Supposedly for the new GPF arrangement.

Ah, thanks, toot, didn't notice the topic is for 1.5 TSI... :D

I will chase the dealer for the engine cover for my vRS then ;)

I concur, 06J 103 226 A £6 each

If you are interested. I got confirmation from skoda-parts.com that this is indeed the newest version of the engine cover for the 2.0 TSI engines.
Part number 06Q 103 925 L
https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/06q103925l-top-engine-cover-skoda-45757.html

Their final reply:
"I've dig some more, and the first part was 06Q103925, then 06Q103925K, both are affected and cannot be used. The "L" revision is the one which is current and safe."

Thanks, bud, another thing to add to the list of tasks for the dealer, lol
