Skoda Superb 1.5 tsi ACT manual engine noise

Hi all, 

Hope you are well. I bought a second hand 35k miles Superb  Sport R-linefrom 2018 from Arnold Clark 2 weeks ago. 

I have this rather strange metallic grinding noise coming from the engine left hand side. It happens after i press the acceleration and as the RPM are coming down. It also sound like it's a diesel car. Not sure if this is normal...

I test drove another superb with the same engine albeit a lower spec car and didn't have any of these issues. 

I must say the engine is quite noisy for a petrol. I'm coming from 9 years of Mondeo 1.6 ecoboost with 126k miles and it wasn't as noisy...

I have it booked at a Skoda dealer in May but just makes me worried and can't enjoy this car as thinking if I still drive it, it might make it worse long term.
