I have a question regarding the 2.0 TSI VRS which I've spec'd and ordered with planned delivery early 2024 (fingers crossed).. And hopefully the new FL won't be that much appealing for me to cancel the current order and get a FL one 😕
Anyhow on to the question:
What MK4s have EA888 Evo4 - DNPA? Is it the newer ones like 2022/2023 ? As I'm finding information online that there are some EA888 Gen3 DLBA engines in circulation for some MK4's.
Also if anyone knows is the garret turbo or continental turbo? (I presume it would be IS38 turbo, as the continental turbo would be reserved for more "premium" segments VAG tries to push out).

Well, as far I am aware, all EU and UK versions are mounting the DNPA engine since day one. DLBA engines are fitted, at least after all I have seen in the forum so far, in AU versions. 

DNPA engine is mounting Garret turbo.

EA888 Gen3 DLBA engines are used in some regions like South Africa and New Zealand. As far as I know in Europe Evo4 games are used.

How do you know if its gen3 or 4, my engine number is DLB 037337
