Update coloumbus or buy new head unit ?

Hi all

 

I wondered if anybody has swapped the  coloumbus for a android head unit. ?

 

If so what did you fit and was there anything different you would do with hindsight ? Did you lose any functionality ie steering controls ?

 

I've read that updating the bt module only allows for 3g  data use which given I would like to stream music probably isn't ideal.

 

Thoughts please.

I have done it several times since 2016, using Amundsen and Bolero MIB STD2 PQ units from facelifted Yeti.
