1.4 tsi cthe charger belt tensioner?

Featured Replies

2014 1.4 TSI RS CTHE

Hi,

The smaller drive belt (17.65x492mm) for the charger does it have a separate tensioner ?

Also I can't see an easy way to change the auxiliary drive belt as the tensioner does not remove sufficient tension (when in the pinned position)

I'm looking to renew both drive belts

can't seem to track down an appropriate exploded parts diagram showing the specifics

Also,

the rear cover for the charger should there be screws / fixings in these holes, all the clips are clipped in correctly but mysterious holes ??

Any assistance gratefully welcomed

I will also be on the lookout for a replacement exhaust shortly

Always things to do to keep them running 😕, at least MOT passed with no advisories today as well as full engine service carried out 🙂

Supercharger cover is just clipped together, no bolts.

Supercharger belt removal attached, you sort of release tension then remove the tensioner itself.

V ribbed belt has 2 tensioners, worskhop detail for both attached.
