Mulling this over as I'm about to replace my exhaust with a Tony banks system

On turbopetrol engines a better intercooler will increase torque and power irrespective of "Stage" because it allows more ignition advance and more fuel to be injected due to the lower charge temperatures.

A turbodiesel can't do the same trick because it doesn't have a closed loop wideband lambda system or knock sensors to provide data for the dynamic map.

 Inlet and outlet hose sizes & positioning ? height and thickness of cooler, mounting points surely they can't be the same as a bespoke unit ?

Sure is the Airtec intercooler is essentially a universal intercooler you are just paying for the name

Have fitted a universal(chinese) one myself, does require an extra bit of mounting to the crash bar however it was pretty simple.
