I can’t find any threads or videos showing disassembly of a DSG mk2 superb shifter.  
 

I have popped the decal off the top and can see workings. 
 

I have a replacement from Ali express, but would rather just replace the button and top decal. As the chrome is stuffed. 

To @phibes - Try to search www . youtube . com for "DSG knob disassembly" or something similar, without "Skoda" and "Superb" and look on thumbnails on results for gear knob that looks like yours. Tha Car, the Model and the Engine have no sense if the gear shifter is the same as yours
