I'm looking at getting a second hand drivers door for my 2007 Octavia Estate - is the driver door from a hatch the same as the estate? Not many on Ebay at the moment in the right colour - best one is on a hatch so not sure if it'll fit.

 

Seems to be just one part number for left front door, and one for right front door (1Z0 831 056), no mention of body style in that section of parts catalogue, so yes.

 

May be useful to know that the part numbers for an '07 preFL door (diagram HERE) is the same as that for a FL '08 door (HERE), and I suspect the part numbers are consistent for all the mk2 Octys.
