Hi guys,

 

Apologies if the technical lingo is off, im learning as I go! I have a mk3 octavia vrs estate (petrol) and all of the rear drivers side lights have stopped working. No indicator, brake light or tail light at all. Can anyone advise where i might start? Have pulled the glovebox to get to the fuses bit there isnt a diagram like there used to be to explain whats what.

Have you checked in the owner's manual for the fuse layout?

 

Are the front's still working? If they are I would give the connector to the rear light a look next.

Hi, I haven't, I didnt think of that! Sorry. Both fronts are still working, as is the other rear. Il try and find the manual and have a look, thank you.

Chances are its a faulty ground whether its the wire, the plug or the ground point itself.
