Kamiq signal lights

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Kamiq for my wife (received in Dec 2022) for which I've waited 7 months to be delivered, and noticed that the rear and front signal lights are static and not dynamic as the car I have tested.

Is it because of the chip shortage?

Please someone advise.

Thanks.

I think so , we got our car in November 22 and it has static at the front and dynamic at the rear

Hi,

I will bring it up to the dealer when I take the car for it's 1st oil change even though I don't think there is anything that can be done to rectify it.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi.

It it just because a tested car has advanced configuration for signal lights. But yours one not

You could have paid extra for this features.

And I can say more. There was a period of time when even for extra money you cant get dynamic front signal lights - only for rear.

But now this option is available, at least for Great Britain

is it not only the Monte Carlo that has the Dynamic rear indicators?  It was the last time I looked.

My SEL Executive has dynamic rear and static front. The Monte Carlo has adaptive headlights which includes dynamic front indicators.

My 1.0 TSI SE 110 also delivered in December 2022 has static front and rear indicators.

Dynamic rear and static front would wind me up, surely they should be one or the other.  If I ordered a car expecting both but only got one I’d be properly pee’d off.
