My wifes car 2017 Octavia scout 190 bhp has 2 common faults,

These faults are number 2 glowplug open curcuit and auxilery waterpump sticking , she had the Glowplug  changed but the fault keeps comeing back so it going back in , 

how much is the auxilery waterpump and is it a quick job to fit. this is at an indi , car runs no problem but with the yellow enginge light on until its cleared also how easy is it to change the auxiliary waterpump is it easy to do or do you need any special tools

the waterpump could be caused by cating sand left in the block at the time of manufacture  ..

AUx Pump does it say pump B or C as has 2x aux electric bosch pumps plus main water pump. i had same issue skoda replaced twice under warrenty and still caused fault though me think this cant be like bosch to make faulty stuff turns out if theres even a small amount of air in coolant system will cause the fault to come on. you want to make sure engine gets up to tempurture with coolant bottle off and with some extra reving to heat up will cause any last air to leave leave to cool and make sure water level dont drop causing air to draw back into system. then you shall be fault free. also please remove slica gel bag out off expansion bottle will save you a heater matrix down the line.
