I have a 2015 Fabia MK3 SE L, I wish to upgrade the radio from the current Bolero to the Amundsen as I’d like the nav maps and CarPlay as from what I can tell I just missed it with this year of car, I believe I need this model Unit (5Q0035874A) however I also understand that once upgraded it will need to be unlocked for full features/restore normal functionality? How do I go about this? Is this the correct unit or will I need to get the screen that attaches to it or can I keep the one I have and replace the box?

YOu have same unit as I had in my Fabia MY15 - 5Q0035820. You can have it repalced with Bolero 5Q0035842x / 565035842 or Amundsen 5Q0035874x / 565035874. The screen does NOT have to be replaced, just the reader. I can deliver such unit in Plug&Play version, if you are interested pls contact me on PM.
