Hi! The petrol lid of my Superb iv 2020 does not open when I press the button in the dashboard. The lid is also not locked. Is this a common problem? Is it easy to fix?

An issue on several VAG model. Have a look to the manual, I think there is a back-up procedure to open it. Normally a kind of cable to pull from the inside of the boot.

No dashboard button for me just the regular clicky catch on the flap? 

Thanks. I am able to open the flap with my finger tips. However pressing the button does nothing. Also when doors are locked, the flap is not.

Must be different on the PHEV iv. Only our MKI had a lecky fuel flap release.

Can you post a picture of the button you mention, I don't think I'm alone in wondering where this button is as petrol/diesel version have no button.

After looking on Autotrader I see the iV is slightly different and has an internal fuel flap release button where mine has the stop/start on/off button.
