I've had my Superb a few weeks ago and slowly getting all the little jobs done on it.

 

one thing I've noticed when I am parking/pulling up on the drive is it occasionally almost stalls and then emits a loud clunk. Now this happens when I am driving up an uphill slope very slowly with low revs.

 

I'm new to DSG and wondered if this was normal and maybe I need to change my driving style a little to suit the gearbox

Good afternoon.

I have the 6 speed DSG and a sloped driveway but have never had what you have described, I don't think it's the gearbox.

 

Any clunking whilst driving and especially on turning a certain direction?
