Refitting battery cover jacket

Featured Replies

I recently had some work done on my Yeti and when I got home I discovered that the battery cover jacket had not been fitted (it was left in the boot).  It's not convenient for me to go all the way back to the garage where the work was done so I figured how hard could it be.

Clearly it can't be threaded around the battery whilst it's connected, so I figure that it's a matter of disconnecting the battery leads (negative 1st etc); refit the battery cover jacket; reconnect battery (negative 1st).  Then I believe there are various operations to cancel some of the lights: windows.

Have I got this correct or am I falling into  a trap?  Thanks

Just realised that I had misread the manual - so reconnect battery (positive 1st) when the new batter is in place. (sigh)!!
