Hi, all!

I am travelling soon and will be leaving the car parked up for close to three weeks.  The dealer service dept has advised me to disconnect the battery with only the clock and radio pre-sets needing to be re-done when the battery is re-hooked up.

Knowing how temperamental the Infotainment system is, has any Octavia Mk4 owners experienced issues doing the above?

Answers really appreciated.

Personally i would leave it as is three weeks is not a long time to park a car up it will be fine 👍

^^^^^ This, especially given that the battery is 2023.

I left my 1.4TSI Octavia in the long term car park at Heathrow airport for 3 weeks when the battery was 4 years old, started with no issues on my return.
