Throttle body sending me Morse code

Featured Replies

Hi again just tried to start Mr Felicia and struggle to start then very slow tick over and sounds like Morse code coming from top of throttle body any ideas ??

First time start up since new engine install?

Could just be the ECU learning where the new throttle body's butterfly valve position is.

If it keeps doing it, it might need a throttle body reset.

You have to go to a repair-shop or a friend or yours which has VCDS to connect it in your OBDI port..

Even if you disconnent the battery and connect it does not mean that in 1' the reset is OK, you have to drive the car for a week in city-highway so the ECU will ''learn'' your driving style and make adjustments.

The first kilometers maybe not ''ideal'' but you had to keep going.

If it's a 1.3 ensure perfect vaccum and perform a reset with msm
