The car is telling me it needs my skoda essentials but I am having a nightmare trying to get it to connect. It keeps asking for milage then to drive 3 miles and put in the new milage then it says unsuccessful

Do you have any resolve of this problem? I have the same issue, I am not able to connect the app with my car.

yes turns out you need to enter in kms not miles

A couple of months ago we gave up my wife's Octavia 2000 (with 225,000 miles on the clock) that no longer pased MOT. We got ourselves a Seat Mii electric which is just a rebranded Citigo, built in Mladá Boleslav.

It was absolutely hopeless to connect to the MySeat app. What I was after was to set a charging profile with a 80 % charge limit. I finally succeded by installing the VW Maps + More app as described here:

A snag is that this app connects via bluetooth, meaning that you must turn on ignition (or "iginition") to get a connection.
