Locking Wheel Nut Cap

Featured Replies

I,m looking to take the plastic aero trim off and fit some caps to the wheel nuts. I believe these are 56mm. What size will I need for the locking wheel nut cap?

56mm looks more like a size for a centre boss than for a wheel nut.

Yes. You are correct, I confused myself as I have already ordered the centre boss. I should have said 17mm.

If you look on ebay, there are usually quite a few traders selling complete wheel bolt covers, so that means 16 basic ones for 17mm bolt heads and 4 round ones for the security bolts., buy a "cap remover tool" as well, there is a VW Group plastic one available.

Removing the aero trims - wise move!   You'll now be able to clean your alloys properly. With the trims on I found it impossible to clean all the surfaces of my alloys.
