Radiator Replacing

Hi, I have a coolant leak obvious at the bottom hose area, hose seems ok and not that bad as far as I can see at the connection, but the bottom of the rad is wet and rusty but very hard to see, I used radweld at the roadside when the warning light came on and the leak area was obviously at the above location, this seems to be working fine but obviously a temporary fix...Has anyone any experience with regard replacing the radiator.
A look on YouTube with a VW UP seems to show it coming through the front after removal of the bumper.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.
