Hi everyone,

Does anyone here have the multi layer/variable boot floor in their car?

im looking at a possible retrofit so am after a VIN and also a lot of detailed photos of everything no matter how unimportant it may seem.

I believe there may be a bit more to this than bolting a few brackets in but want to be 100% sure.

thank you to whoever may help :)

I have the variable floor on an estate, will that do?

That’s exactly what I’m after thanks.

As many photos of all bits as you can get would be massively helpful!

OK, I'll do later and PM you the VIN.

Let me know if you need nothing else. PS Sorry about the rotated iPhone images

There is a hinging system under the floor by the back seat that is/was listed on the foreign car part site everyone uses (cant remember its name)

Do you mean ifinterface.com?

As far as I can see, you will need:

3V9 861 411  Boot Floor

5E9 861 527/528 floor retaining bar

3V9 864 321 cover for retaining bar (2 required)

N 908 265 03 screw (2 required)

3V9 864 511 filler panel left

3V9 864 512 filler panel right

3V9 858 857 A filler panel left with sound system (check variations)

5E9 853 909 A clips (4 required)

N 909 747 01 scred (2 required)

This is an interesting topic for me. I have a Superb Mk4 Estate, and I too want the variable boot floor, as I have to  carry a  wheelchair in the  car, I already have the ramps but  getting the chair in with the existing boot floor is a bloody nightmare. I would appreciate any help with this AT ALL. I dont  have the manual dexterity required to do this all, nor do I have the tools or the confidence. I was told that  Skoda UK will be fitting this  for me, but now they are backpedalling and saying they never promised it, but luckily I record my calls. They used my own vin number against me, by stating that this vin number does not have a variable boot floor so they dont know if it  will fit, but Its in the extras  catalogue for my particular model which is an SEL.  Here in the UK I would be very grateful if it turns out the parts listed above will fit a 2024 model I would love to know  what each item costs. As far as I am aware 2024 and  2023 share exactly the same  boot  dimensions, unless someone knows different, but it  must be workable somehow, even if I end up doing a bodge job with 4  blocks of  wood, one at each corner.....

Looking forward to some  replies, as shifting this  damn wheelchair at the moment is not  doing me any favours.

Hi,

Did you manage to do the retrofit? It is something I want to have done myself and interested to hear if you hit any snags.

Thanks
