Does anybody know if the 1.4tsi 150bhp has a long life service option? I have been told by a dealer that its an option and it is either 19k or 2 years, can't say I have ever heard of this previously.

Yes and in the case of a 2017 1.4tsi its a pretty safe option unless you do lots of short runs/cold starts where engine oil does not reach optimum temperature which is usually not until 5+ miles.

 

The interval is 18,600 miles/737 days (2 yrs + 1 week) whichever comes first. Car service must use appropriate long life oil (VW 504.00 spec)
