Paint chipping

The car was washed and cleaned about once a month usually by hand (at my parents place since they have a large yard) with cleaning products used on other cars as well (none others have any paint stripping) and the car is parked on public parking spaces around apartment building where i live.

No construction work was being done this year around the parking.

No car around has any sort of similar damage, and my second car (wifes) is not showing any damage either and is with us for longer.

Not sure why everyone here is rambling about it being a bad paint job.

You should be contacting your insurance company instead of the dealer. That looks very much like brake fluid damage. You can clearly see the color tone change where it's been absorbed into the paint in multiple locations. On the door, the same substance has stained the rubber window trim and dripped further onto the paint below.

Wont say it is impossible, but would brake fluid also explain new spots popping up in the last month?

It could. Doesn't have to be brake fluid, could be another solvent as well. From your pictures it looks like there's dark patches radiating outwards around most of the flaky parts. That could indicate that whatever solvent got in there has creeped into the paint around the entry point and is chewing away at the paint layer from beneath. Compare it to rust chewing away at the metal starting from a small pin-sized hole in the paint somewhere.

I'm only making a well educated guess based on what I see, and I think you haven't looked at it close enough, because that's definitely no stone chip! Below is an inverted and contrast enhanced copy where you can clearly see there is some sort of run mark going down from the rubber trim to the point where there's a hole in the finish.

You are correct, I only have vision in one eye, the contrast enhancement does indeed allow me to now see what you had seen.
