After a recent update to the infotainment system, when I start the car the volume seems to get stuck on the lowest level and I can't seem to change it using the scroll wheel on the steering wheel or on the infotainment system itself. After 15 mins or so, it then starts to work again?

 

Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue?

Yes I'm having the same issue! Also updated my infotainment system recently

Apparently Skoda aren't aware of any issues currently. However it has been brought up by a few people across various forums who own an SE L. 

 

Skoda have said to take it into my nearest Skoda retailer for them to investigate, which I'll try and do this week. So fingers crossed it gets sorted 🤞🏻

I hope you get it sorted! I also have an SE L, For me it mainly appears when using android auto wirelessly rather than through a cable. But that maybe just because I use that as my main media source..

Hi, I have the same problem on my SEL. I did the update on Thursday and since then my calls sometimes get distorted. I’m being told. I sound like pinky and perky and I’m telling them that they sound like they kidnap somebody and using something to disguise their voice. Also my volume control will not work until I do a soft reset. I’ve posted this on facebook I only got one reply(possibly the OP). I did a full return to factory settings and I still have the problem yesterday after I did it. The volume control was just wouldn’t work when I went back to work today. If I try to make a call it’s all distorted again. Spoke to my suppling dealer this morning who say it needs to be connected up and see what shows up. Unfortunately I can’t get to them so I’ll have to try local dealer. If it’s any help, I also get the problem when using CarPlay through a cable .

Yes I also have the issue with the sound on calls, the person on the other end sounds like they are masking their voice to make it sound deeper. I haven't actually been able to get in to the car to do any more testing but am thinking of taking it back to the dealer. If I do I will post any feedback here. I hope you get somewhere with your local dealer!

I spoke to 2 dealers today and no one can get me until mid October. I’m hoping for a fix before that.🤞

Going to ring my dealer tomorrow and see how I get on. An update popped up today which I thought would be a fix.. turns out it was just to update the shop/offers page on the system 🤦‍♂️

It seems to have miraculously fixed itself. No updates have been installed as far as I'm aware. Anyone else still having the issue? 

Mine also seems to have miraculously fixed itself and definitely haven’t done any updates. Fingers crossed that’s the end of the issue.
