SD Card Not Working

Featured Replies

I'm driving to Devon later and removed my SD Card to put some more music on it (been using the card for ages without a problem).  However, when I put the card back in I get the message in the pic.  Removed it, formatted it and tried again but still the same.  Tried another card and still same message.  Any ideas what's causing this or how I can get my music to play?  Bad enough my DAB has gone down but now this, don't think I can listen to FM radio for 2 hrs!

Check if you have file metainfo2.txt in the root of SD.

No I don't, I've formatted the cards (full not quick) but still the same. Even tried a new one I had but when I select media I get this message.

Update - There was in fact a metainfo2.txt file on there!

I copied all my music from the sd card to my pc when I used the card to update my system a couple of weeks ago.  No idea why it was still on there so when I formatted it was indeed empty and then I just copied all my music back without realising the file was there.

Thanks for the help again pab567 otherwise I'd be just going round in circles!
