Both of my Octavia's (1.4TSI and 1.8TSI) have had the full battery cover, sides & top.

I've now received and mounted the cover, so all done :)

Looks smart that battery cover, now do bonnet  gas strut mod.  It's bliss having it lift up effortlessly.

Agree re. gas struts for the hood, makes those engine bay checks easier. I really don't get the (seemingly common) modern trend of leaving it until a warning light flags - rather than doing regular checks.
