Or do you have the manual to check the steps which should be followed for replacing the module?

I bought some cheap replacement electric struts from Ebay( £49.99 a pair) for my 2013 Skoda Superb Estate. Quite straight forward to fit. After replacement they would close, however, not open the rear door.

What I hadn't done was disconnect the battery before carrying out the replacement. I therefore disconnected the battery and reconnected after half an hour.

All now operates fine!
